🚌✨ A Memory That Still Makes Me Smile…

About five years ago,

a beautiful—and unbelievably funny—moment became a part of my life… 💫

Back then, I was just a girl who was still a little scared of traveling by bus alone.

Getting on a bus felt like a big challenge to me…

My heart was filled with both excitement and fear 🤍

But that day was different…

A relative from Nawagaththegama called and said,

“There’s a little bull puppy here… come and take it” 🐶💛

Those words felt like a dream to me.

“I have to get that puppy!”—my heart had already decided 🌸

Since my parents couldn’t come with us,

my sister and I set off on this little journey together…

It was my very first “brave” trip 🚍✨

I followed my sister onto the bus,

and somehow, we managed to find a small seat.

Even though I was a bit nervous, my eyes were full of excitement 🌈

In the middle of the journey,

a group of schoolboys got on the bus…

laughing, joking, being playful—

and of course, we couldn’t escape their teasing 😅

As we got closer to our stop,

we were getting ready to get down…

But life doesn’t warn you before giving you a funny moment, right? 😉

Suddenly, the bus hit a hard brake…

and because of that sudden force,

the metal bar attached to the seat I was holding…

came right off into my hands 😳

That moment…

Should I panic?

Or should I laugh?

Well… I couldn’t stop laughing! 🤭💥

My sister had no idea what had just happened.

She thought I was laughing for no reason.

“Why are you laughing? Get down quickly!” she scolded me 😄

And me?

I simply handed that “unexpected treasure” (the metal bar 😅)

to the boys sitting nearby…

and instead of just getting down,

I literally jumped off the bus! 😂🔥

After getting down, when I told my sister what really happened,

we both burst out laughing, holding our stomachs 🤣💛

🌸 A Memory That Brings a Smile…

Even today, whenever I travel by bus,

this memory comes back to me…

Not with embarrassment—

but with a warm, happy smile 😊
