T here is a story in my life I will never forget… A story about a teacher— Or rather, a beautiful soul who showed me the path to my dreams… ✨ It was when I had just entered Grade 11… The first moment I saw the teacher who came to teach Drama, my heart quietly whispered— “she is different…” 💫 As time passed, what grew between us was not just an ordinary teacher-student relationship… It was something warmer, something deeper… like two best friends who truly understood each other 💖 When I was with her… I didn’t have to pretend… I didn’t have to hide who I was… I could simply be myself 🌼 At the end of Grade 11, on one page of my autograph book, she wrote a few special words just for me… Words no one else received… 📖✨ Even today, whenever I read that page… my dreams come alive again… After O/Ls, I returned to the same school for A/Ls… That’s when she told me— “Malshi, do Drama… I will teach you.” Even when the school said a teacher couldn’t be assigned just for one student… she stood by...

Since my childhood, studying was never something close to my heart… There were days when even opening a book felt like a burden. But as time passed, when I reached Grade 6, a small dream started to grow inside me… “I want to study too…” 🌼 Yet, life gave me a difficult challenge— Mathematics. No matter how hard I tried, those numbers… those problems… felt like a language my mind refused to understand. On the days marks were given, other students would laugh… 😔 “They’re bad at math,” they would say. About five years ago, a beautiful—and unbelievably funny—moment became a part of my life… 💫 Back then, I was just a girl who was still a little scared of traveling by bus alone. Getting on a bus felt like a big challenge to me… My heart was filled with both excitement and fear 🤍 But that day was different… A relative from Nawagaththegama called and said, “There’s a little bull puppy here… come and take it” 🐶💛 Those words felt like a dream to me. “I have to get that puppy!”—my heart had already decided 🌸 Since my parents couldn’t come with us, my sister and I set off on this little journey together… It was my very first “brave” trip 🚍✨ I followed my sister onto the bus, and somehow, we managed to find a small seat. 🎂 Grandma’s Birthday… A Day Filled with Happy Tears 💖

 A mong the most precious people in our lives, our grandmother holds a very special place. 💕 She is the one who speaks to us with love, cooks for us, and told us stories when we were little… her heart has always been full of warmth and care. 🥺 To give back even a small part of that love, we decided to make this year’s birthday a very special surprise for her. 🎉 🎈  To make sure grandma wouldn’t suspect anything, we all came together with a secret plan. 😌 All the grandchildren joined hands to organize it quietly.
