The warmth of vesak: Blessings from the. "samagiye suwada" family society

๐Ÿ’™ A family is not just a Bond of blood.

It is a place where love, unity ,and kindness flow

Form one heard to another.

That is exactly what brought our family together

To create our cherished society -

"Samagiye suwada"

Every program we plan, every idea we share,

Carries one purpose:

To do something good, something meaningful,

Something that brings happiness to others.

Beautiful Leda born on vesak poya

One day, just before vesAak poya,a family member gently suggested:

"Shall we offer a Dansala this vesak?"

The moment those words were spoken, our hearts filled with joy.

Everyone agreed instantly.

Not only our family, but neighbors, frinds, and even those who simply cared about us said:

" we would love to join too"

that gave us strength.

it made our small idea bloom into something

truly beautiful.

THE YOUTH WHO BECOME THE HEART OF THE HEART OF THE  DANSALA

people often see dansala led by adults.

but this time ,the true energy came form our

family's young members, who poured their

hearts into every task.

For days they worked together :

  • cutting ingredients for the porridge
  • preparing the pots and utensils
  • Bringing everything needed for the dansala
  • laughing, helping each other ,and spreading pure positivity

It wasn't just housework this time-

It was a meritorious act filled with love.

VESAK DAY- A STREAM OF BLESSINGS

When the big day arrived, we were ready .Truly ready

As soon as the dansala opened, pepole came form everywhere-

villagers, neighbors, travellers, young and old

Everyone who came:

  • offered blessings,
  • wished us well,
  • and left with gratitude.
At that moment, we felt something powerful:
  • The strength  of our family's unity
  • the joy that rises when you give with a pure heart
  • pride in our youth, who made the danhsala a success through their  dedication
by the end of the day, all our hearts were full.
standing together, we all felt the same thougt:

"let's keep doing thing like this more often''

A final note form the heart

on that vesak day, ''samagiye suwada'' truly lived
up to its name.
a fragrance of kindness spread - not form
flowers,
but form our family's unity and love.

what we gave was  not just  a cup of porridge-
we gave our hearts.
we shared joy.
we offered compassion.
we created blessings.

And that is the true fragrance of samagiye suwada.
